Collins-Spekulum

The weight of the steel is just right, which makes it feel serious rather than flimsy during play. I've used it a few times now and it's held up perfectly, the latch mechanism is smooth and clicks cleanly. Exactly what I wanted for my kit.

The gloss finish is stunning in person, and the steel feels incredibly dense and well-balanced in hand. I've handled cheaper instruments before, but this one has that solid, professional weight that makes it feel like a real keeper for the collection.

The steel feels hefty and solid in your hand, exactly what you want for this kind of kit. The smooth, lusterless finish is easy to wipe down after use, and the gloss really catches the light nicely. It's become a staple piece for me.
